Temperature Resistance of Cured Impressions

Plastiform impressions are structurally stable under normal operating conditions. Dimensional precision is best preserved with moderate temperatures and limited exposure to heat, as heat might dilate the material.

Measurement limit: avoid prolonged exposure to elevated temperatures before measuring, as Plastiform can expand when heated.

Application range: 15°C to 25°C is ideal. The functional range extends up to 50°C. For temperatures above 50°C, a test must be conducted to validate suitability for the specific application.

Whenever possible, make and measure the impression at the same temperature, ideally at 20°C.
