Plastiform Finder
The Plastiform Finder is an online tool that recommends the right product for your application. It is available at form.plastiform.info.
It does not replace understanding the three selection filters. It automates them and will make this work for you without you needing to actually understand the technical knowledge beneath it.
If you already know how consistency, hardness, and removal constraint work, the Plastiform Finder will confirms your choice but will also push product scoring we design.
Some product are best fit to specific applications, the Finder takes that into account.
Reading the Result
The Finder displays one or more recommended products with a short explanation of why each fits. If multiple products are shown, they are ranked by suitability.
If the result is unexpected, check your inputs. The most common error is entering Dmax and Dmin incorrectly. Swapping the two values WILL affect the results.
Limitations
The Plastiform Finder covers approximately 95% of standard applications. It will not produce a result in some very specific situation with very complexe parts or measurement requirements.
If the application returns no match, contact the expert team directly. A solution still exist even if the algorithm cannot identify it, it simply needs an expert to step in.
