Description
The P51 SD is the most rigid product in the range. Its final impression has a hardness of 51 Shore D (100 Shore A) and is brittle: it cannot be deformed during demoulding. This plastiform therefore does not accept any Extraction Stress (0%) and polymerizes quickly in about 1 minute.
The P51 SD has been specially developed for clearance, spacing and air gap control. It is indeed capable of being crushed up to a thickness of 0.1 mm. Its pasty consistency prevents it from flowing, making it easy to position on any type of control surface. Thanks to its hardness, it is also used to carry out simple dimensional inspection, which does not present any difficulty during extraction.
This plastiform is particularly compatible with contact measuring machines. Using the P51 SD is sometimes a good alternative to other products in this context.

Applications
The P51 SD is suitable for the following applications:

- Gap measurement and spacing control, spacing or air gap.
<>Since the P51 SD cures quickly, you will need to take this setting into account when attempting to apply it. It is also important to degrease your part before starting to inject the product. A dirty part is detrimental to the polymerization of plastiforms.

Impression Measurement
The P51 SD impression can be controlled without contact using visual measuring systems:
- Profile projector,
- Microscope,
- Optical measuring system.
Being very rigid, it can also be controlled with a traditional contact measuring system (caliper, 3D measuring machine, profilometer, contourometer, etc.)
Packaging :
Each product is delivered in 50mL cartridges, with standard injectors and nozzles.
