Long injectors are injectors specially designed to apply products in 400mL cartridges. They are 170mm long and mix the two-component injectors with a 1:1 ratio, allowing a completely homogeneous plastiform to flow at its outlet.
This injector is only mounted on 400mL cartridges, so its size is suitable for the use of these products. Its length allows it to easily reach the bottom of large cavities to replicate and its diameter does not handicap it to enter them. It is an essential injector for controlling large shapes.
Do not start the injection until you are fully ready to perform all your tests. When the two components are introduced into the injector, they are mixed throughout their passage through the injector. They begin the polymerization process, which means that the product begins to harden.
If the product has polymerized inside a long injector, it is no longer usable and you will have to throw it away.
Long injectors cannot accommodate nozzles at their ends.
Long Injectors are situational accessories, they are only sold individually.

Long injectors are often used for large scale control or protection applications:
- Dimensional control of internal shapes.
- Dimensional control of External shapes.
- Protection, Masking, Waterproofing.
The part you want to check must be degreased with DN1, a Plastiform validated degreaser. To attach the long injector to a 400mL cartridge, unscrew the cap from the cartridge and place the injector in its place before mounting the assembly on the applicator gun. Be careful, as soon as you pull the trigger of the gun, the mixing of the two components will start in the injector. Be careful not to waste time with a product in the process of being worked on in your injectors.
