Description
The F50 XL is a fluid product specially designed to build custom-made protective moulds. The F50 XL is the flagship product for masking and protection applications. It is extremely resistant and very practical for the design of custom-made roofing for parts in the direction of surface treatments.
The mould can be reused many times, even if it protects a part from demanding surface treatments (chemical, thermal, etc.). Its flexibility allows it in its final state to install and release parts easily.
The impression being very precise, it will be close to the micron, near the walls of the part to be protected, making it perfectly waterproof against any treatment. In addition, the strength of the product allows it to always return to its original shape, and therefore, to be reusable on several machining operations.
The properties of the F50 XL also allow it to perform internal dimensional control, but it only supports an extraction stress of 5%.
As a high-volume product, it can offers a longer than normal working time (about 10 minutes). Its curing time is about 25 minutes.

In order to use the product properly, we recommend that you follow the guidelines in the operating instructions exactly. Mixing the two components manually requires attention to the quantities mixed and the working time of the product. Be sure to gently pour the F50 XL onto a surface to be protected or controlled.
Impression Measurement
As the replica is very flexible, its dimensions should only be checked with visual measuring machines:
