Description

Thanks to its high initial Fluidity (flowable product), the F20 can easily infiltrate into any type of part, whether small (diameter up to 0.1 mm) or medium size.

The final impression is very flexible (hardness estimated at 20 Shore A), which allows it to be strongly stretched and deformed during demoulding without any problem.

The F20 is therefore recommended for taking impressions in complex internal forms (threads, grooves and internal grooves…). However, it is important that the Extraction Constraint does not exceed 30%.

The impression is very accurate. All surface details (shape, dimension, appearance, surface condition, etc.) are reproduced in µm.

The replica is not altered during the extraction step, which allows for an optimal result. Similarly, it will not leave any trace of its passage through the controlled area.

Finally, the technical characteristics of the product also allow it to be used for protection. It is particularly effective in replacing a gasket.

Applications

The F20 is suitable for the following applications:

It can also be used for:

  • Dimensional Control of Simple Internal Forms.

Some examples of shapes:

Total internal footprint of simple shape:

  • Alésage
  • Hole opening up to Ø 0.1 mm
  • Blind hole

Total internal footprint of complex shape:

  • Threading
  • Inner groove
  • Inner groove

The F20 must be used in accordance with the recommendations in the operating instructions. We recommend to pour the F20 slowly by equipping your injectors with nozzles. The tip will allow you to mix the product to ensure that it enters every corner of the control area.

Make sure not to create air bubbles, they could affect your results. This note is valid for all fluid plastiforms marketed by Rivelec.

Impression Measurement

The impression is very flexible and is controlled without contact using visual measuring systems:

  • Profile projector,
  • Microscope,
  • Optical measuring system.
